About Us

Continuing a tradition from the 1880’s, the Crested Butte Snowsports Foundation (CBSF) educates, promotes and supports amateur snowsports in the Gunnison Valley. The Foundation raises funds and offers both need and merit based scholarships to competitive skiers and snowboarders. Further, the Foundation works with strategic alliances to help attract and organize high-quality ski and snowboard events and programs which benefit local athletes, the Foundation’s mission and the Valley as a whole.
